How to Get Glimpses in Mortal Shell 2
Last verified: 2026-08-24
Quick answer
Glimpses are the limited resource for Shell ability trees. After Balance Patch 1 they are not the currency for revealing Shells on the map — that switched to Gloom, and earlier Glimpse spend on those maps was refunded.
Do not follow pre-patch map advice
Any article that says “buy Shell locations with Glimpses” is describing the launch week, not the current official notes. Read the pinned patch.
Exact Glimpse drop tables are still a mess across sites. This page will not invent a farm loop.
Quick answers
I already spent Glimpses on Shell maps.
The official patch says those Glimpses were refunded.
