Mortal Shell 2 New Game+
Last verified: 2026-08-24
Quick answer
Beating Zmey does not start NG+. Return to the Gloom Siphon in Marrow Keep and choose Send Ova. Independent guides agree most character, Shell, and upgrade progress keeps; Beacon cleanses, world/quest state, and Ovum progress reset. There is no official item-by-item table.
Carry-over, as guides currently agree
| Keeps | Resets |
|---|---|
| Most character, Shell, gear, and upgrade progress | Beacon cleanse state, world / quest flags, Ovum-style flow items |
Edge-case items should be treated as current-build until an official list appears.
Quick answers
Can I keep exploring after Zmey?
Yes. Free roam continues until you Send Ova.
