How to Fast Travel in Mortal Shell 2

Last verified: 2026-08-24

Quick answer

Reach Marrow Keep after the prologue for hub travel. Full Beacon-to-Beacon fast travel and some corruption clears unlock with Mether’s Breath, earned by siphoning Ova at the Gloom Siphon. Prepare about 8 Ova. Public guides still disagree on the exact UI number.

Ova count is disputed

GamesRadar writes “return at least 4 Ova.” Several independent guides write siphon 8, or about 7–8 total. This page will not pick a fake internal threshold. Use the in-game Siphon prompt on your build.

What is not in dispute

  1. Clear / use Beacons as you explore. There are 49; 46 can be cleansed. Marrow Keep, Widow’s Overlook, and Outskirts of Mammon start clean.
  2. Take Ova back to the Gloom Siphon in Marrow Keep.
  3. Unlock Mether’s Breath.
  4. Fast-travel between Beacons you have already found, and clear some corruption walls.

Quick answers

Can I fast travel from the first Beacon?

Not the full system. Hub travel waits for Marrow Keep. Beacon warping waits for Mether’s Breath.
